Since 2011, our Montessori-certified educators have been igniting a love for lifelong learning. Now proudly serving families in the heart of Tamarac, we offer an education that celebrates each child’s individuality and potential.
Spanish–English Bilingual Immersion
Our guides only speak to our students in English, while assistants speak only Spanish, creating a full-day bilingual experience, not just a Spanish class. Your child naturally absorbs both languages through every activity and interaction.
Daily Outdoor Exploration
Children spend time outdoors every day in our playground. They plant, harvest, and enjoy food from our garden, connecting hands-on learning with nature.
Personalized Montessori Learning
Our Montessori educators carefully observe each child and introduce new concepts when they are ready. When your child is ready for greater challenge, we provide it. When they need more time, we support them—so every child can grow with confidence.
Hands-On Learning
Children learn best by doing. It allows them to explore, experiment, and discover through real experiences—building independence, confidence, and a deeper understanding of the world around them.
What Makes Montessori Different?
Not All Montessori Schools Are the Same
Montessori is an educational method—not a brand, franchise or school chain. It is a child-centered approach that recognizes that every child develops differently and learns at their own pace. The Montessori method respects and nurtures each child’s natural development, allowing them to grow with independence, confidence, and curiosity.
At South Florida Montessori Academy, we are deeply committed to authentic Montessori education and are proudly recognized by the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI)—the organization founded by Dr. Maria Montessori to preserve the integrity of her work and uphold the highest standards of Montessori education worldwide.

Dace Slisane
This school is amazing. My son absolutely loved the teachers and work he was doing. This school is AMI accredited and follow very very closely to original teachings of Maria Montessori. I was researching the best school for my son and this school kept coming up on top, we toured the school and we were sold. And it’s the best decision we made. Definitely recommend this school.
